I. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:
- Master and understand some vocab.
- Express their opinions about a problem.
II. Language contents:
Grammar: Present perfect tense.
Vocab : a printer, manual, (to) connect, under guarantee, a plug, a socket,...
III. Techniques: Questions and answers, Brainstorming, True / False Prediction, Bingo, Reading Comprehension , write it up,...

- In order to know more about computer, let’s study Unit 15 – part” Listen and Read”.
* Pre – reading:
+ Picture
+ Situation: A book tell you how to use the machine.
+ Hand gesture
+ Situation
+ Realia
+ Picture / Realia
- Elicit – model – record.
* Check: Bingo
- Set the scene: Nam and his father, Mr Nhat are talking about the problem of the computer they’ve just bought. What happens to the computer?
- Put the chart on the board and have Ss guess which statements are true and which statements are false.
- Call on some pairs to give their answers.
- Write Ss’ guesses on the board.
* While – reading:
- Have Ss close their books.
- Have Ss listen to the tape and check their guessing.
- Have Ss open their book and listen to the tape again.
- Have Ss work in pairs again to check if their guessing are right or not.
- Give feedback and correct.
- Have Ss correct false statements.
- Have Ss copy down.
- Explain the words: fact and opinion.
- Get Ss to read the statements and tick the fact or opinion.
- Call some Ss give the answers.
- Have Ss copy down.
* Post – reading:
- Ask Ss to use reported speech to rewrite the dialogue.
- Divide the class into 3 groups and assign each group to report about 3 -4 sentences.
