I . Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:
- Practice in listening to the weather forecast for information about the weather in big cities in the world .
- Understand and master some structures
- Talk about activities using the Present and Past progressive tenses.
II. Language contents:
+ Grammar : Review some prepositions of places and phrases of lines.
+ Vocab : (to) itinerary, gallery, flight, via, facility, brochure.
III.Techniques: Questions and answers,Slap the board,Matching, Mapped dialogue, transformation.
IV .Teaching aids : Cardboards, chart, textbook, posters.
V . Time : 45 minutes

(3’)1. Warm up: Quiz
2. Check up: - Have Ss answer some questions:
1. What is the end of everything? (letter g )
2. What word starts with T , ends with T, and is full of T? (Teapot: Pot – full of)
3. What is the middle of New York City? ( York)
4. Which river in America has 4 eyes? ( Mississippi : 4 eyes – hononym)

- Ask Ss some questions:
+ Do you want to visit abroad.
+ If you have a vacation abroad, how will you go there / where will you stay?
- To know more information about that, today we’ll study part ”Speak- Listen”.
* Pre-speaking:
+ Explanation
+ Situation
+ Explanation: a journey made by plane
+ Explanation
+ Translation
- Elcit – model – record.
* Check: Slap the board.
- Show the photocopies tables on p113, 114 on the right of the board.
- Ask Ss to match them with the right titles on the left.
-Let Ss give the answers in front of the class.
* Practice
- Leave the tables on the board and ask Ss to look at them.
- Go through the tables, asking Ss questions for information about the flights, accommoda-tion, and tourist places.
-Let Ss notice the questions.
-Let Ss answer the questions.
* Production:
- Put the mapped dialogue chart on the board.
- Elicit the exchanges from Ss.
- Have some pairs practice each exchange before going on to another exchange.
- After finishing the dialogue, ask a good pair to demonstrate the whole dialogue.
* Pre- listening:
- Write the topic on the board.
- Ask Ss to find the words related to the topic.
- Correct if necessary.
- Give the possible answers.
-Let Ss ask and answer the questions.
-Call Ss practice in pairs.
* While-listening:
- Put the gap-fill table on the board.
- Have Ss copy in their notebooks.
- They are going to listen to the weather forecast about the cities in the table and have to fill in the gaps with the information they hear.
-Let Ss fill in the gaps with the information they hear.
-Let Ss give the answers in front of the class.
-Let Ss compare their answers with their partners.
- Correct if necessary.
* Post – listening:
- Have Ss ask and answer the questions about the weather and temperature using the information in the table.
